This 2-hour workshop is a brief introduction to drag art & performance of masculinities.

The workshop contains a glance into the history of drag, makeup tricks and tips as well as some movement practices.

What to bring?

You can participate in the workshop without any preparation or items. However, we listed a few things that might come in handy during the workshop and experimentation.

• Cozy, warm clothes that also allow movement. You can also pack an outfit or accessories for your character.
• Moisturizer, makeup mirror, makeup (contour, powder, makeup pens, eyeshadows etc.), makeup brushes and sponges, makeup removal items or vipes. 
• Water bottle and snacks for your own needs.

Drag King Boy Band Out of Sync presents: Club Underdog – a club night concept combining drag performances and DJ driven dancefloor activities catered by the bois of Out of Sync & their guests. Club Underdog is an invitation to play and join a collective fantasy: feel free to bring out your wildest outfits, try out a new face beat, grab that wig, work those pumps, shed your skin or try out a whole new persona for the night. Get your freak on – or just come as you are and enjoy the show!

First time in Dude Island (Jätkäsaari, Helsinki) this experimental dog park club night opens up for one night only in the Lobby Bar of Teater Viirus (Välimerenkatu 14)!
