What kind of memories arise in different phases of our lives? How do we merge with those memories and how do the memories become a part of our selfhood, a part that we carry with us that is unconscious and often mute. What kind of metamorphoses are created by stepping into the image of memory?
Cloudbody – an ecology of dreams #1 is a choreography for text, voice and image. Memories and dreams merge forming a fabric where the viewer becomes an experiencer in this surrealistic dramaturgy that materializes the logic of dreams. The room-like space creates a setting for a somatic sound art work in which the different layers of memory form an ecology of dreams.
Cloudbody – an ecology of dreams #1 is the first part of Cloudbody performance series where Liisa Pentti continues the dialogue and physical practice taking place in the space between the poetic body and the viewer.

Liisa Pentti +Co is an experimental dance company founded in Helsinki in 2000. The artistic profile of the company lingers between contemporary dance, performance and postdramatic theatre. In addition to performances the company organizes events and workshops that are fostering the content and meaning of dance and other body-based art forms in the 21st century.
