Workshop with Suvi Kemppainen!
Anchored in the artistic practice of choreographer Suvi Kemppainen and their stage work Puija, this movement workshop invites participants of all levels into a poetic and attentive exploration of body, space, rhythm, and imagination. Drawing from somatic principles such as shaking and anatomical movement research, the workshop offers tools for tuning into sensation, presence, and Suvi Kemppainen’s artistic language, psychopoetic dance.
Through specific and guided movement tasks participants are encouraged to explore the poetics of movement and celebrate the potentialities of one’s corporeality.
