Theatre discussion with the artists of Swedish Asshole, Monday 23rd of March, 8.10pm

Both critics Otto Ekman (HBL) and Perttu Rytsölä (Verde) agree that the audience gets exactly what they paid for in the performance Swedish Asshole: grotesque humor. However, they disagree on how provocative the performance is and whether or not it criticizes the Fenno-Swedish community as advertised. 

What does the working group think?

Join us when we discuss the process and the different decisions behind Swedish Asshole next Monday, the 23rd of March right after the performance (approximately 8.10pm). The performer/directors Johanna Karlberg, Antonia Atarah and Alen Nsambu are joined by performance dramaturg Even Minn. The discussion is moderated by Teater Viirus’ theatre pedagogue Marja Vuori. 

The discussion will be held in the gallery-foyer at Teater Viirus right after the performance. You are welcome to join us even if you saw the performance another time. Free entry to the discussion, performance requires a ticket. 

The discussion will be held in English and it lasts approximately 45min.
